Core shop
Planned more precisely right from the start.
At the Jürgens Foundry, you can rely on fitting accuracy right from the start – even when it comes to special geometries in the components made of cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron and grey cast iron. We produce these using core moulds, which our high-tech core shop produces precisely from CAD data for your project. The material mixture of the cores, made of temperature-resistant chrome-ore sand and additives, is always individually adapted to your castings.
Moulding
State-of-the-art technology for more precise results.
You can rely on obtaining flawless surfaces for your cast parts – because we already lay the foundations to achieve this in the moulding shop. Our experienced staff produce all moulds for you with extreme precision and according to the exact specifications. In this way, we create the most important basis for the flawless casting of your spheroidal and grey cast-iron components weighing 1 to 1,000 kg.
Smelting shop

Thanks to our efficiency in the smelting shop, we are your reliable partner even for large projects: Our three medium-frequency electric crucible furnaces achieve the most efficient smelting performance at all times – day after day and in the highest quality.
We also use state-of-the-art technology in the smelting shop to achieve high-quality casting results for you. The modern smelting process control and high-power density allow maximum flexibility and highly economical use of energy in the smelting process for your projects.
Finishing treatment

Your advantages at the Jürgens Foundry: You can use your castings immediately without having to process them yourself – because we take care of the finishing treatment for you. This saves you a significant amount of time and you receive ready-to-assemble workpieces made of spheroidal graphite iron and grey cast iron.
Our finishing-treatment services range from casting preparation to finishing with techniques such as priming, painting and galvanizing. In this way, you can always rely on the work being executed precisely and to the best quality standards. Our CNC machining centres are also happy to carry out all the work you require, such as drilling, turning or milling.
